Partnerize Mobile App.
END TO END MOBILE APP.
Full end to end project, for an Affiliate Marketing company. Working on both brand & Partner apps to create a mobile version of the Partnerize Saas Product.
-
The Partnerize Mobile App brings the Desktop platform to mobile devices. The app provides a lightweight version of the full desktop product with a focus on new partner onboarding and facilitating brand & Partner relationships through a Marketplace.
-
While the focus is on increasing the number of new partners using Partnerize, existing partners will too find key functionality such as searching for, and applying to brand campaigns. In addition to this tracking, reporting, and receiving/sending payments will also be covered in the new app.
-
For this project, I was involved in the End to End process. Including but not limited to competitor research, user research, prototyping, validation, final designs and feature iterations.
Users base
Partnerize is a leading affiliate marketing platform that has gained popularity among a younger demographic of users. This younger user base is highly mobile-savvy and prefers to access their affiliate marketing programs on-the-go.
Problem
The desktop version of the platform offers it’s users a huge amount, allowing downloads of high levels of data, tracking, analytics and the ability to reach out to partners to create connections generating millions of pounds each year.
In response to the ever increasing numbers of younger users, Partnerize needed to create a mobile version which offered the same functionality, but streamlined.
Solution
Partnerize has provided their users with a seamless experience that allows them to manage their affiliate programs from anywhere, at any time. This move also positions Partnerize as a forward-thinking company that is responsive to the evolving needs of its users, and underscores their commitment to providing innovative solutions in the affiliate marketing space.
The goal of the Partnerize Mobile App is to emulate the Partnerize platform via a stripped-back, on-the-go product that allows partners and brands to use the Partnerize platform on their mobile devices.

Discovery & Research
In the discovery and research stage, we conducted extensive market research to identify the key pain points and needs of our target audience. We found that younger users are looking for a more user-friendly and interactive platform to discover and promote products they love.
We also discovered that there is a lack of trusted and reliable affiliate marketing platforms that cater to a younger demographic. Through our research, we gained valuable insights into the features and functionalities that would be most appealing to our target audience, including gamification elements, social sharing capabilities, and seamless integration with popular e-commerce platforms.
Knowing our users.
We found that the demand for an App was the highest amongst our ‘Influencer Partners’ who we found would use a partner marketing app for a variety of reasons.
Firstly, partner marketing apps provide influencers with a platform to easily discover and connect with brands and products that align with their interests and values. This allows influencers to monetise their online presence and reach a wider audience while promoting products they believe in.
Secondly, partner marketing apps provide influencers with detailed analytics and insights into the performance of their posts and campaigns, allowing them to optimise their content for maximum engagement and revenue.
Additionally, we found that a partner marketing app could provide influencers with access to a community of like-minded individuals, which could be a valuable resource for networking and collaboration. Finally, we found that by creating a partner marketing app for our Influencer market we could simplify the administrative tasks associated with influencer marketing, such as payment processing and contract management. By using a partner marketing app, influencers can focus on creating great content and building their personal brand, while leaving the logistics to the app.
Key results
28%
Of our Partner usersbase were Influencers working with Brands to further their campaigns.
66%
Of this Influencer userbase found the Partnerize desktop App overwhelming.
2/3
Of our Influencer research candidates emphasised how important it was to them to be able to have quick access to payment overviews and withdrawals.
User flows & wireframes
The sign-up process is a critical part of the app, and wireframes for this section had to include a clear and concise sign-up form that collects the necessary information from the user, such as name and email address. The sign-up process also had to include a password creation step and an option to sign in with social media accounts for added convenience.
When it comes to adding card details, wireframes incorporated a simple and intuitive form for users to input their payment information. This included fields for card number, expiry date, and security code, as well as a user-friendly interface for users to confirm or edit their payment details.
Finally, wireframes for connecting to brands included a clear and easy-to-use interface for users to search and discover brands they would like to partner with. This may include filtering by category or product type, as well as the ability to view details about each brand, such as commission rates and product information. Once a user has selected a brand, the wireframes suggested a straightforward process for the user to connect their account and start promoting the brand's products.
Introducing Illustration & Aha Moments
Introducing illustration and Aha moments into the app interface helped with making the app more visually appealing and engaging, helping to draw in users and keep them interested in the content. Illustrations can also convey complex ideas or concepts in a more accessible and memorable way, making it easier for users to understand and retain the information presented in the app.
In addition, incorporating Aha moments into the app interface can help to create a sense of excitement and discovery for users. Aha moments are moments of insight or realisation that can be triggered by unexpected or surprising interactions within the app. By incorporating Aha moments, designers can create a sense of delight and wonder for users, which can help to build loyalty and encourage continued engagement with the app.
